Everything That's Included on the ATX Disco Cruise (So You Don't Have to Bring Anything)

What is included on the ATX Disco Cruise? Everything that makes a bach party legendary — and it is the world's only party cruise of its kind, exclusively for bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, and combined bach groups. A professional DJ spinning non-stop for 4 hours. A professional photographer capturing every moment with digital delivery after the cruise. 14 disco balls and full party lighting on the Clever Girl flagship vessel. Giant 6x20 foot lily pad floats for swimming in Lake Travis. Coolers pre-loaded with ice. Cups, koozies, and bubbles. An experienced USCG-certified captain and crew. Tax and gratuity are included in the ticket price. Groups of 2 to 25+ welcome — no minimum group size. The only thing you need to bring is your beverages (BYOB — cans and plastic only, absolutely no glass). This guide covers every detail of what you get on the highlight of your bach weekend.

Entertainment: DJ and Photographer (Both Included)

The professional DJ is included on every ATX Disco Cruise cruise for the full 4-hour duration. This is not background playlist music — it is a live DJ set tailored to the energy of each boat. The DJ reads the crowd, mixes continuously, and keeps the dance floor moving from departure to return. Private charter boats have Bluetooth sound systems where you control the music — no live DJ. The DJ is exclusive to the ATX Disco Cruise.

The professional photographer is also fully included at no extra charge. They board with the group, spend the entire 4 hours capturing candid moments, group shots, swimming and float photos, and dance floor energy. After the cruise, photos are delivered digitally. Bachelorette groups especially value this — coordinated content, no one stuck behind a phone the whole time. A professional photographer hired separately would cost $200–$400. On the Disco Cruise, it is built in.

The Boat: Disco Balls, Floats, and Coolers

The Clever Girl is Premier Party Cruises' flagship vessel, accommodating up to 75 guests. It is outfitted with 14 disco balls that create the signature disco atmosphere unique to this experience. The boat also features a giant Texas flag, party lighting, shade structures, and multiple deck areas for dancing, lounging, and socializing.

Giant lily pad floats measure 6 feet by 20 feet — large enough for your entire group to float together in Lake Travis. The captain deploys them when conditions are safe. Coolers are pre-loaded with ice and ready when you board. Cups and koozies are provided. Bubbles are provided for photos. The USCG-certified captain and professional crew handle all navigation, safety, and float logistics — your group focuses entirely on enjoying the experience.

What to Bring: The Short List

Beverages in cans or plastic containers. Absolutely no glass on any vessel — this is a strict non-negotiable safety rule with no exceptions. Many groups use Party On Delivery (partyondelivery.com) to have drinks delivered directly to Anderson Mill Marina before departure, which eliminates the need to transport beverages from wherever you are staying.

Beyond beverages: sunscreen (Texas sun is intense), a swimsuit under your outfit if you plan to swim, a towel, comfortable shoes (sandals or flip-flops work best on boat decks), and a valid ID showing you are 21 or older. Optional but popular: custom matching outfits or accessories for the photographer, a portable phone charger, and a change of clothes for after.

What NOT to Bring: Glass Is an Absolute No

No glass of any kind on any vessel. No glass bottles, no glass cups, no glass containers. This applies to wine bottles, champagne bottles, glass flasks, and any other glass item. This rule exists for guest safety and the safety of Lake Travis — broken glass on a boat deck or in the water is a serious hazard. Cans and plastic are fully welcome.

Also leave home: anything valuable you cannot afford to get wet (the lake is involved), high heels or shoes with hard soles that could damage the deck, and any prohibited substances. The captain and crew have authority to remove guests for rule violations. The policy exists to protect everyone on board.

BYOB Guide: How to Stock Your Group

The ATX Disco Cruise is fully BYOB for guests 21 and older with valid ID. Plan roughly 2–3 drinks per person per hour as a starting point for most groups. The 4-hour cruise means budgeting appropriately. Coolers with ice are provided on board — you do not need to bring a cooler. Simply bring your beverages and load them into the on-board coolers when you arrive.

Party On Delivery (partyondelivery.com) is a local Austin alcohol delivery service that delivers directly to Anderson Mill Marina, 13993 FM 2769, Leander, TX 78641. Order in advance and have your beverages waiting at the dock. This removes the logistics of transporting alcohol from your Airbnb or hotel. Current ATX Disco Cruise schedule: Fridays 12pm–4pm ($95/person), Saturdays 11am–3pm ($105/person), Saturdays 3:30pm–7:30pm ($85/person). Call (512) 488-5892 or visit ATX Disco Cruise to book.
